Our story
We are here to build a flourishing community where families thrive
When my precious son was born, I was recovering from a traumatic delivery, navigating a difficult work situation, and struggling with breastfeeding. Despite the infinite love I felt for my son, I found it hard to be present as a mom.
I joined a new moms group and it was invaluable. We supported each other through the early days of motherhood. We still support each other today. I learned many things I wish I knew early on, things I would love to help other families with at the outset.
In my professional career, I have always been driven to create impact in community:
- I sought to build products that matter as a software engineer
- I created groundbreaking, impactful innovations in maternal care in partnership with Stanford Hospitals
- I helped individuals, teams and organizations build mentally healthy, inclusive, vibrant cultures
- I helped individuals, families and groups learn social emotional skills in an engaging way within a supportive container, as an NVC trainer and restorative practitioner
I now want to use those skills to help new families feel a sense of belonging and be joyful and healthy as they grow.
It takes a village to raise a child and build a thriving family. We are helping build that village in Berkeley.
